Those that are effective will be successful while those who are not will fail. This does not necessarily mean they are not leaders but there approach for whatever reason did not work. Effective leadership in many respects presents an atmosphere of respect not only for who they are but for what they have done and what they want to accomplish. This can either be for themselves or the organization/company for which they work.
Other characteristics of leaders involve being honest with those who want to follow their approach to issues for which they are responsible to resolve. Another aspect is character. This involves how an individual handles themselves in specific situations especially when it is important for their company. Many issues face businesses today and leaders who are effective help to project a positive perception to customers that their company is the one to choose for their needs.
